As the name implies, the latest Skunk variety from Sensi mixes the pure Afghan genes from Hindu Kush with the explosive power and unsustainable performance of Skunk # 1. Less well known is the fact that there are several generations of crosses in the history of Skunk Kush that add a distinctly different character to this species. Skunk Kush has the thick stems and dark, leathery leaves of her Afghanica older and shows the strength and size of Skunk, and generally gains around 150% of her growth height during flowering, and sometimes even more. The top formation is especially the winner in this sharp, hashish mix of cannabis culture varieties.
Thick Afghani Skunk clogs are normal when you grow Skunk Kush and our favorite phenotypes have an incredible, huge flower structure consisting of grape-like bunches of buds - apparently a return to Skunk # 1's Sativa ancestors.
The sparkling chalices have sturdy, semi-open tops and a large area for resin glands to develop. Some leafy hairs develop such bulging buds that attentive growers can even see them swell and change color by harvest time.
If they grow in their natural form or if the lower branches are removed, the central top of Skunk Kush will cover half of the main stem of most plants and even nearly 75% in the more open Sativa women.
In this species, musky Skunk and dark resinous Afghan aromas are supplemented with a citrus flavor. The best phenotypes take the fruity touch to sensational heights with delightfully sharp lemon and menthol flavors that linger in the palate and open the airways.
