The ceramic bowl is placed on a stainless steel charcoal holder – also serving as an ashplate – by a rubber spacer around the head base.

The beautifully decorated stainless steel tube stem rests on an oval base, which connects to a filter pipe that penetrates the glass water reservoir to filter the smoke.

An air valve on the oval base of the stem regulates the airflow. Finally, the entire set-up consists of a flexible tube and tongs for gripping the charcoal.
