Explanation:

In the Sierra Mazateca, where Salvia Divinorum grows in the wild, it is used by medicine men and women in religious rituals. The leaves are also used as a remedy for diarrhea, headaches, and rheumatism. Nowadays, the substance is used for its psychedelic high and as part of healing rituals.

Use:

Heat 50 mg of the herb to 250°C for a moderate to strong experience. If you have little experience with salvia, take a very small amount to test your sensitivity. The effects of salvia vary from person to person and can be quite overwhelming for some.

It is important that you use salvia in a quiet, dark environment (with a few candles, for example).

Most users do not chew but smoke the leaves with a water pipe. This results in short but very intense hallucinations. The effects occur after 30 seconds, are at their most intense for 5 to 10 minutes, and fade away after 20 to 30 minutes.

Mechanism of action:

Salvia Divinorum contains Salvinorin A and Salvinorin B as active substances.

Salvia cannot be compared to other hallucinogenic substances such as mushrooms or cacti; it has its own unique effect. The trip is very short, lasting 20 minutes to 1 hour. Afterward, one returns to a normal state. During the trip, various states may occur, including: two-dimensional hallucinations, out-of-body experiences, becoming an object, time travel, the feeling of being present in multiple places at once, or a fit of laughter.

Warning:

Be careful with salvia extracts. Use these only with a 'sitter'—preferably an experienced one—and only if you are already familiar with the effects of salvia leaves.

Salvia is definitely not a party drug! Therefore, ensure a quiet, familiar environment so that the salvia can be fully appreciated.

Strong Effect: 0.5 grams

Use

Salvia Divinorum can be used in two ways: by smoking the herbs or by taking them orally.

Smoking
Smoking salvia is best done with a pure pipe or water pipe. Inhale the smoke deeply and hold it in for at least 20 seconds. The hallucinations occur almost immediately and are quite short, usually a few minutes.

Oral

For oral intake, you must chew on the herbs or place them under the tongue. When chewing, you must delay swallowing for as long as possible. We recommend chewing for at least 10 minutes. The hallucinations occur after 10 to 20 minutes and have a longer-lasting effect than when the Salvia is smoked.

The following should be taken into account before using the product:

It is recommended to have a sober friend present when using the product.
Swallowing has no adverse health effects.
Noise can disrupt the Salvia trip. Use the product in a quiet environment.
Gradual build-up is recommended for beginners. Therefore, start with a lower strength.
