Reishi (Ganoderma Lucidum) is a brownish-red mushroom, approximately 10 to 25 centimeters in size. In the Netherlands, this fungus is known as lacquer. They grow primarily on the stumps of old trees such as oak and beech. In China, reishi has been used for over 2,000 years. Its reputation is impressive, and it's therefore called Lingzhi, which means "mushroom of immortality." Lingzhi is used for various purposes in traditional Chinese medicine.

McMyco drops are manufactured using the UAE (Ultrasound-Assisted Extraction) method.
This is a specific application of the widely used ultrasound technique.
UAE uses high-speed sound waves (20-100 kHz) that can rapidly break open the cell walls of substances, allowing the solvent (e.g., ethanol or water) to directly and efficiently absorb the desired substance.

Because the cells break open quickly, more of the active ingredient remains in the product. It's a sustainable "green" method because it requires less solvent.

A low temperature is used, so heat-sensitive substances aren't affected and the vitamins and antioxidants present remain intact.
